It was at that point that the mystery of the vampire attacks and the witchcraft went to court.  Looking back on it, the weirdest part was that Mr. Barnabas was a vampire at a witch trial.  He was just lucky they didn’t put him on trial.  Hellfire, a life sentence for him would last forever.

But he was a good man, and I do not want anybody getting the idea that he was not.  Everything horrible thing he did was done for a reason.  Everybody he hurt and killed had it coming.  I only heard about those criminal things after he died.  I would have gone to the police otherwise.
